SSI Diagnostica A/S is the leading Nordic manufacturing and distribution company within the area of in vitro diagnostic products for microbiological laboratories. Internationally, we sell antisera, rapid tests and other diagnostics directly to our customers as well as to end users through distributors. Through a considerable number of years, we have built a strong profile as a reliable and flexible supplier of quality products and expert technical support.

Until 2016, SSI Diagnostica was part of Statens Serum Institut, which was founded in 1902 and is renowned globally for its very solid foundation in research and proud traditions. In 2016, SSI Diagnostica was bought by Adelis Equity – a change of ownership, which has led to increased investment in and focus on our R&D activities, our commercial department as well as our manufacturing facilities and equipment.

Our overall mission is to improve micro-biomedical diagnostics for the benefit of both patients and society as a whole. We do that by supplying better and quicker micro-biomedical diagnostics, working closely with our many customers, focusing on providing high-quality products based in our long history and our expertise, as well as providing solutions which help to prevent resistance to antibiotics globally.

SSI Diagnostica employs more than 100 people, who are primarily located at our Hillerød headquarters. We are ISO 13485 certified and we have taken out several patents based on the products developed by our R&D department.
